On September 18, Berlin, Germany, held state elections. See this story about the results. The Green Party boosted its share of the vote from 13% in the last state election, to 18%. As a result, the Green Party is expected to join the ruling state coalition.

Good day fellow Pirates.
Earlier today, September 13, 2011, I mailed the paperwork in to the Arizona Corporation Commission to formally dissolve the USPP.
Whether or not I am still allowed to use this mailing list is beyond me as the USPP that was is no longer, but the assets of the USPP were pretty much given to the Florida Pirate Party, of which I am the Vice-Chairman. Read more »

Just this past Tuesday in a meeting held in the IRC, the final decision on how to split up the assets of the USPP was decided. We are still in the middle of sorting out what goes where, but what will happen is this:
1. The Florida Pirate Party will retain the data created by the USPP.
2. The Washington Pirate Party will host such data in the future for the benefit of those who desire it. Read more »

I am sorry that I have not sent out this newsletter before now. I had planned on sending it Wednesday, but things got in the way, and well, it’s being sent now. Better late than never.
