Dear Supporter,

I’m happy to let you know that the next chapter in life includes joining the board of the Liberty Tree Foundation, an extremely exciting and effective 501(c)3 not-for-profit founded by my campaign manager, Ben Manski, in 2004.

The Liberty Tree Foundation for the Democratic Revolution is a nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that the American Revolution is a living tradition whose greatest promise is democracy.

In order to help achieve that promise, Liberty Tree is uniquely committed to building a democracy movement for the U.S.A.. They provide vital support to grassroots campaigns for democratic reform in many areas of American life, and bring those campaigns together to form a united movement for democracy.

Liberty Tree literally is a game changer. Since 2004, Liberty Tree has been responsible for:

  • The No Stolen Elections! campaign, which made the Ohio Recount possible.
  • Preparing for and helping to lead the Wisconsin uprising via the Wisconsin Wave.
  • Launching the national campaign to “Bring the Guard Home! It’s the Law.”
  • Co-founding and housing the Move to Amend coalition in its first years.
  • Bringing exposure to new models of organizing, like student unionism, participatory budgeting, and for that matter, the very idea of pro-democracy organizing itself.
  • One of the most exciting projects Liberty Tree has undertaken is the Democracy Convention, the place where the U.S. democracy movement comes together. I invite you to join me and over one thousand others by registering for this year’s convention in Madison, Wisconsin, August 7-11th.

Please help me get started on this important work by donating to this game-changer of an organization.

    Onward,
    Dr. Jill Stein
