Minor Parties File Brief, Asking U.S. District Court to Find Alabama’s March Petition Deadline Unconstitutional

On February 12, the Alabama Constitution, Green and Libertarian Parties filed this brief, asking a U.S. District Court to rule that the March petition deadline for newly-qualifying parties is unconstitutional. The case is Stein v Chapman, U.S. District Court, Middle District, 2:12cv42.

New Political Party Forms in South Carolina
