On May 14, the Virginia Libertarian Party filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court over Virginia’s ban on out-of-state circulators. John Robertson, who was best known for his petitioning work over many years in the Libertarian Party, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at his son’s home near Point Arena, California.
