Great news! We have just learned that H.B. 32 The Electoral Freedom Act of 2011 will indeed make it to the state Senate floor this week. We can’t reveal how, but suffice it to say that it is the result of the work of one of our great sponsors and supporters. We don’t know when this will happen, and we might not have much notice. The New York special election set for September 13, to fill the vacant U.S. House seat, 9th district, will have three candidates on the ballot. The Democratic-Working Families-Independence candidate is David Weprin. The Republican-Conservative candidate is Robert Turner. The Socialist Workers Party candidate is Christopher Hoeppner.
